Grant details and eligibility

Review eligibility, coverage and required documents before applying.

Eligibility criteria

01

There are no general restrictions by nationality or subject, but applicants must apply for an eligible new master's or DPhil course by that course's funding deadline. Selection considers academic merit, potential, the quality and fit of the application, and references. It is highly competitive; eligibility does not guarantee an award.

What the funding covers

02

Full course fees and a living-cost grant for full-time scholars during the course's fee-liability period. Part-time support varies. Continuation charges or costs not specified in the funding offer may not be covered; check the university's award letter and detailed terms.

Required documents

03

Submit the Oxford graduate-course application with the certificates, transcripts, CV/personal statement, study or research proposal, references and language evidence required by the course. No separate Clarendon form is required, but the course application must be complete by the deadline shown on its course page; missing it can make the applicant ineligible for funding consideration.

How to apply

04

1) Find a suitable master's or DPhil course on Oxford's website. 2) Check the course page for the admission/funding deadline; dates vary and are usually in December or January. 3) Submit a complete graduate application by that deadline. 4) You are automatically considered for Clarendon; no separate scholarship form is needed. 5) Monitor admissions and funding correspondence. NEXA may provide separately priced application review with fees disclosed in advance, without guaranteeing admission or an award.

Applying through NEXA is a separate paid service. The fee is explained before the process starts. Listing an opportunity does not guarantee eligibility, acceptance or funding.
