Grant details and eligibility

Review eligibility, coverage and required documents before applying.

Eligibility criteria

01

Official fields include biology and health, ecological transition, mathematics and digital sciences, engineering sciences, history/French language and civilisation, law and political science, and economics/management. This is not a general bachelor's scholarship. Published programme age limits are generally up to 29 for master's and 35 for doctoral candidates, but verify them in the 2027 rules. Support and nomination by a French institution are required; direct student submissions are ineligible.

What the funding covers

02

Monthly allowance and support services for travel, transport, insurance, housing searches and cultural activities according to programme rules. Tuition is not directly funded by Eiffel; check whether the award, degree and public-institution status qualify you for a separate exemption.

Required documents

03

Start by contacting the international-relations office of the French institution. It may request a CV, transcripts, degree certificates, study/research plan, language evidence, references and passport details. Documents and internal deadlines differ by institution; the 2027 call rules and the nominating institution's instructions are definitive.

How to apply

04

1) Identify an eligible course at a French institution. 2) Contact its international-relations office well before the internal deadline. 3) Ask the institution to assess and nominate your application; do not apply directly to Campus France. 4) Complete the requested documents so the institution can submit the nomination online. 5) Follow official results. NEXA may review documents for a separately disclosed fee, without guaranteeing nomination or selection.

Applying through NEXA is a separate paid service. The fee is explained before the process starts. Listing an opportunity does not guarantee eligibility, acceptance or funding.
